Ballandean is located almost exactly in the middle of Stanthorpe and Tenterfield along the New England Highway; about an hour ‘s drive from Warwick, two hours from Toowoomba and three hours from Brisbane.

Known for it’s growing wine industry, there are also a number of family owned farms in the area harvesting seasonal fruits such as tomatoes, capsicums, zucchini, stonefruit as well as grapes to name a few.

Stanthorpe enjoys four distinct seasons, but no matter what time of year you decide to visit, there is always something to enjoy such as markets, art exhibitions, musical events in the many vineyards across the district, themed dinners, concerts and more.

Warwick has some of Queensland’s oldest and finest sandstone buildings. “Jumpers and Jazz” in July and the famous Warwick Rodeo in October are calendar highlights.

Tenterfield has some beautiful historic buildings housing shops, cafes and restaurants along the main street, and there are wineries, scenic walks & tours, and fishing spots to be explored in the region.
